All are extremely passionate about creating dishes using locally sourced produce which will of course include a delicious range directly from our farm! You can't get better than eating ingredients grown on your doorstep.

SARAH RANKIN
Sarah Rankin is a Perthshire based private chef, MasterChef Finalist, food writer and lover of Scottish flavours and produce.
​
Sarah celebrates Scotland’s Larder and it’s artisan producers as Sarah Rankin Cooks in her food writing, broadcasting, chef demonstrations, private dining, supper club, cookery classes and food festival appearances. You’ll find her food stories in local and national press, and hear her regular contributions on BBC Radio Scotland.
​
Sarah is passionate about working with local suppliers, sustainable food practices and Scottish produce. Her first cookbook, ‘Kith’ which celebrates Scottish flavours, seasonality, local producers and the joy of cooking for those you love, does just that with over 100 delicious recipes using Scottish ingredients.

As a private chef at Solsgirth Home Farm, Sarah offers incredible fine dining experiences, coupling outstanding food with stories on seasonality, sustainability and the wonderful range of suppliers she works with locally, including produce from Solsgirth itself.

JILLY McCORD
Jilly McCord, originally from Langholm in the Scottish borders, has had a passion for cooking throughout her life, but took the plunge and entered MasterChef UK in 2019. Jilly was runner up in the competition and since then has expanded her culinary experiences: appearing at festivals; working with national brands; holding supper clubs; and offering her services as a private chef. She is a full-time teacher of History and Politics, but uses every spare minute creating new recipes and pursuing her love of food. The best of Scottish produce is at the heart of Jilly's recipes, but she uses flavours from all over the world in her dishes. She was also a Scottish rugby internationalist, appearing 47 times for Scotland and captaining her country in the Six Nations Championship.

KAREN BAYNE
Karen Bayne grew up in South Africa, and learned to cook from her mother, before later training at Leith’s School of Food and Wine in London. She set up Extraordinary Eating after spending a decade cooking for private clients in homes, castles, villas and chalets across Britain and abroad. She specialises in offering her clients a totally customised experience, attending to the smallest detail to make sure their meal is utterly memorable.
She is privileged to have access to fantastic local ingredients and suppliers, and to work in a field which never gets dull, and is constantly evolving. She gains further inspiration from her travels and loves expanding her repertoire.
When not cooking with her children or dreaming up menus, she is a dedicated CrossFitter, and also enjoys yoga and hill running.
