Education
Our own team has diverse and far-ranging experience to share in lots of different areas including veterinary, farming, and regenerative agricultural. And for specialist courses, we have a network of trusted experts on hand who are delighted to share their knowledge.
We are exploring connections with several charities and community groups such as Duke of Edinburgh, the Scouts, Home-Start, and The Royal Highland Education Trust. We also welcome individuals, clubs, and groups, so if you’d like to visit, please contact us to discuss the details.
We’ve a range of educational opportunities for different ages and stages.
Popular topics for school-age children include: ‘Farm to Fork’ looking at where food comes from, foraging woodland, and exploring pondlife. We’ve also run sessions about sustainable eating, arable food production, healthy soils, bees and honey, and the meat and dairy industries, to name but a few.
VETERINARY & AGRICULTURAL STUDENTS
For agricultural and veterinary students there is a wide range of opportunities such as seasonal lambing and calving, and general animal husbandry and welfare. Placements (unpaid) are available with accommodation and food provided – timings and details vary so please get in touch to discuss.
